Eagles soar high and build their nest at an altitude where no other bird flies. Inspiring huh? But I feel this illustration only demonstrates ambition. The way I see it, eagles don't lead anybody. When they are seen, people are inspired yes, but eagles are unapproachable. That's a horribly misguided way to lead.
Lately, I've been really ON. It's pretty evident with this post being so soon after the last. What can I say, I'm inspired=D! But with so much ambition, I'm keeping an eye on pride. I won't be shy about it, I do want to become a leader in certain situations I am and will be in. I want to inspire and be a respectable man, yet something in me longs for the soft relationships that seems to pervade conventional leaders.
Why am I excited? Because I've been having marked progress in areas of my life that I recently took the initiative to define. It's a skill I believe I'm being led to learn. And to a certain extent, it is an answer to my prayer to take responsibility and be disciplined in my own life.
There are three things I've been working on:
- Increasing my health sciences knowledge
- Equipping myself with productivity and business tools (for my future secret venture)
- Personal development
